Ma'an Network publishes 2013 financial report

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Reflecting a policy of transparency, Ma'an Network is publishing its financial statements for the year 2013.

The statements consist of a consolidated financial statement and a consolidated statement of activities, a consolidated statement of changes in net assets, a consolidated statement of cash flows, and notes to the consolidated financial statements.

The financial statements have been audited by an international auditing company Price Water House Coopers Ltd Palestine. In its report, the firm determined that the consolidated financial statements of Ma'an Network are accurate and compatible with international standards.

Commenting on the issue, chairwoman of Ma'an Network’s board of directors Nibal Thawabtah said that making financial the statements public reflected Ma'an's desire to remain transparent in its financial and administrative policy out of the belief that Palestinian people have the right to access information.
