Palestinian delegation visits Korea to promote Palestine tourism

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an ) -- A Palestinian delegation visited Korea in recent days to promote Palestinian tourism through an ongoing project developed for sustainable tourism in the area.

The delegation visited Korea between Sept. 19-22 as a part of the Project for Sustainable Tourism Development through Public-Private Partnership, which is currently been implemented by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in cooperation with the Palestinian Authority's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Palestine.

The number of Korean visitors to Palestine is reportedly on an increase, as thousands of religious pilgrims travel to the occupied Palestinian territory each year.
