PA police detain 14 fugitives at Allenby Bridge crossing

JERICHO (Ma’an) -- Palestinian Authority police detained 14 Palestinian fugitives over the past week attempting to cross the Allenby Bridge between the occupied West Bank and Jordan, police said Saturday.

The 14 fugitives were wanted for various criminal charges, a police statement said, adding that those detained included fugitives crossing the border in both directions. 

In the same period, more than 20,000 people have used the Allenby Bridge crossing, with 10,765 entering Jordan from the West Bank and 10,744 entering the occupied West Bank from Jordan.
