Man killed in head-on car crash in Jenin

JENIN (Ma’an) -- A man was killed and six others were wounded in a head-on collision involving a two cars in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin on Sunday afternoon, Palestinian police said.

Jenin area civil defense and the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance services rushed to the site of the accident and evacuated five people with minor to moderate injuries to hospitals in the area.

The police statement quoted paramedics as saying they found a man dead on the scene, identified as 25-year-old Mahmoud Bassem Yasin.
