Young Palestinian killed, 3 wounded in shooting incident in Shufaat refugee camp

JENIN (Ma'an) -- A young Palestinian man was killed and others injured Thursday evening after a shooting incident between Palestinians in the Shufaat refugee camp in occupied East Jerusalem, a Palestinian police spokesperson said. 

Palestinian police spokesman Luay Irziqat said Ahmad Muhammad Jaradat, 27, from Silat al-Harthiya village near the northern occupied West Bank district of Jenin, was shot dead and three others were injured, with one reportedly suffering serious wounds. 

All of those injured were reportedly from the Jenin district. 

The police spokesperson said an investigation has been opened on the incident.
