Israeli settler dies in car accident south of Qalqiliya

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) – An Israeli settler Tuesday died in a car accident near the illegal settlement of  Alfei Menashe south of the occupied West Bank district of Qalqilya. 

Israeli spokesperson Luba al-Samri said in a statement that the incident happened on route 55 when the settler’s car crashed in a head-on collision with a bus, causing the settler’s death. An Israeli woman who was traveling with the settler was also injured and taken to the hospital.

Israeli police initiated an investigation into the incident after rushing to the site of the crash.
