Israeli forces set up checkpoint east of Qalqiliya

QALQILIYA (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces Thursday evening set up a military checkpoint at the eastern entrance of the city Qalqiliya in the northern occupied West Bank. 

According to witnesses, Israeli forces set up the checkpoint, searching vehicles and checking the IDs of those crossing in both directions.

An Israeli army spokesperson said they were looking into reports.
