Palestinian Umrah pilgrim dies in Mecca

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian from the town of Birzeit in the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah died on Friday after performing Umrah in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca.

A committee for Umrah pilgrims within the Palestinian Ministry of Endowment confirmed the death of Hajj Issa Ali Issa Said after he had performed Umrah, without elaborating on the cause of death

Hajj Said was buried in Mecca after Friday prayers.
