Palestinian injured in a local dispute in Nablus

NABLUS (Ma’an) -- A Palestinian youth was critically injured after being stabbed during a local dispute in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus on Thursday.

Palestinian police spokesperson Luay Irzeiqat said that a 20-year-old Palestinian from the village of Burin sustained serious injuries after being stabbed in different parts of his body on al-Shuhada Square in central Nablus, and was transferred to the Rafidiya governmental hospital for treatment.

Irzeiqat added that Palestinian police had caught the assailant and opened an investigation into the case.
