Israeli forces detain 3 Palestinians after crossing Gaza border

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Friday detained three Palestinian youths after they “illegally” crossed the border fence from the northern Gaza Strip.

Hebrew-language media reported that the three were able to cross the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip and were detained by Israeli forces deployed near the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon.

The detainees were transferred for interrogation to the Israeli intelligence.

Neither an Israeli intelligence nor Israeli border police spokesperson was immediately available for comment.
