BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli police detained 15 Palestinians on Thursday for crossing from the occupied West Bank into Israel without proper documentation.

Israeli police said in a statement that the detentions were made during a raid in the village of Yirka in the western Galilee, and that the person hosting the West Bank residents in the village was also detained.

The police added that indictment lists against six of the detainees would be presented to an Israeli court on Sunday.

The identities of the detainees remained unknown.
