Israeli forces set up checkpoints at entrance of Salfit city

SALFIT (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces set up military checkpoints at the main entrances of Salfit city in the northern occupied West Bank on Thursday.

Israeli forces imposed strict restrictions on checkpoints, stopping vehicles and searching ID cards of passengers and pedestrians, causing major traffic jams traffic.

An Israeli army spokesperson said they were looking into reports.
