HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a Palestinian “youth” Tuesday afternoon at the Gush Etzion detention center in the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem, after he appeared to meet with Israeli intelligence officers upon a summons order that was delivered to him earlier Tuesday morning.

Locals told Ma’an that Abed Zeida from the Hebron-area al-Arroub refugee camp was delivered an interrogation summons during a predawn raid in the camp Tuesday.

According to locals, Zeida was detained during his meeting with Israeli intelligence Tuesday afternoon.

An Israeli army spokesperson said they were looking into reports.
