Construction worker seriously injured after falling from height in Qalqiliya

QALQILIYA (Ma'an) -- A construction worker was seriously injured Sunday morning after he fell from height at a construction site in the village of Jinsafut in the northern occupied West Bank district of Qalqiliya.

The Palestinian Civil Defense Service said in a statement that rescue teams from the Hajja station were alerted to an emergency at a construction site, where they found a man suffering from serious wounds after he fell from the sixth floor of a building where he was working. 

The crew managed to move the worker on a stretcher to a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance that took him to hospital.
