BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces suppressed Palestinian protesters on Friday in the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah, according to official Palestinian Authority (PA)-owned Wafa news agency.

Palestinians in the village of Nilin were holding their weekly demonstration in protest of Israeli settlement and separation wall construction in the area, when Israeli forces “attacked” the protesters, Wafa reported.

Israeli forces reportedly fired tear gas and stun grenades towards protesters. No injuries were reported.

An Israeli army spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.
