BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli police arrested a Palestinian on Thursday allegedly suspected of carrying a pipe bomb to an Israeli military court in the northern occupied West Bank, according to Israeli media.

Israeli news website Ynet reported that Israeli border police and military police troops arrested a suspect who arrived at the Salem military court on Thursday “with what appears to be a pipe bomb on his person.”

Police sappers were reportedly called to the scene to neutralize the explosive, while the suspect was detained and transferred for interrogation.

The identity of the Palestinian remained unknown.
