Feb. 5, 2018 3:59 P.M. (Updated: Feb. 7, 2018 10:05 A.M.)
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- An Israeli settler was reportedly injured in a stabbing attack in the Israeli settlement of Ariel in the central occupied West Bank on Monday, according to Israeli news website Arutz Sheva.

Arutz Sheva reported that the settler, a man in his 30s, was stabbed in the chest by a Palestinian. The settler was reported to be in critical condition.

Parademics from Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency service, were deployed to the scene of the alleged attack.

MDA said on their twitter that parademic had performed CPR on, and administered medicine to the settler, adding that they had stopped the bleeding.

While Arutz Sheva reported that the attack was committed by a Palestinian, the identity of the alleged suspect remained unknown.

It also remained unclear if the suspect had been apprehended by Israeli security forces.
