Israeli forces open fire at Gazan youths near border, killing 2

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday, after they reportedly attempted to cut through portions of Israel’s border fence along the eastern besieged coastal enclave.

Spokesperson of the Gaza Ministry of Health, Ashraf al-Qidra, confirmed that a Palestinian was pronounced dead on arrival at the European Hospital ,alongside another who was critically injured.

The second Palestinian was pronounced dead shortly after.

They were identified as Bahaa Abd al-Rahman Qudeih, 23, and Muhammad Khalid Abu Rida, 20.

According to Ma’an documentation, the two are the latest casualties in some 53 Palestinians who have been killed by Israeli since the “Great March of Return” protests began on March 30.
