Thousands of Gazans perform Eid al-Fitr prayers at eastern borders

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Dozens of thousands of Palestinians performed Eid al-Fitr prayers alongside the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip on Friday.

Leaders of Palestinian factions took part in the prayers including head of Hamas’ politburo Ismail Haniyeh.

Member of the movement’s politburo, Khalil al-Hayya, said that the Palestinian people would continue marches of return until the siege is broken.

Al-Hayya added that Palestinians’ participation in Eid al-Fitr prayers on the borders confirms that they would keep going.
