JENIN (Ma'an) -- Seven Palestinians were injured during clashes that erupted after Israeli forces demolished the home of a Palestinian prisoner in the Bartaa al-Sharqiya village in the occupied West Bank district of Jenin.

Locals told Ma'an that Israeli forces demolished the house of prisoner Alaa Qabha, 26, who Israel accuses of carrying out a vehicular attack a few months ago which left two Israeli soldiers dead and three wounded.

Sources added that some 20 military vehicles raided the village before soldiers raided Qabha's house, a one-apartment on the third floor housing 12 Palestinians and owned by Qabha’s father.

Clashes broke out following the demolition between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces; seven Palestinians were injured.

Injuries were reported to be between minor and moderate.

According to UN numbers, between April 24 and May 7th, Israeli forces conducted 127 raids in the West Bank.
