GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces opened fire at a group of Palestinians injuring one in the southern city of Rafah in the besieged Gaza Strip
on Wednesday afternoon.
A Ma'an reporter confirmed that Israeli forces fired live bullets at a group of Palestinians who were near the return camps at the eastern borders of Rafah City, injuring one of them while the rest withdrew.
The injured youth was not immediately identified.
Witnesses told Ma'an that
when Israeli forces opened fire at the youths when they attempted to cross the border fence into Israel. Sources added that ambulances were not able to reach the injured Palestinian instantly due to the shooting.
An Israeli drone had earlier fired a rocket at another group of Palestinians in the same area; no injuries were reported.
