Israeli forces raid, set up checkpoints in Jenin-area village

JENIN (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces raided the Palestinian village of Yaabad in the northern occupied West Bank district of Jenin, on Friday.

Locals said that Israeli forces conducted an extensive search and set up several military checkpoints in the Yaabad village, southwest of Jenin, and several surrounding villages and towns.

Sources added that Israeli forces prevented the movement of vehicles and residents in towns and villages south and east of Jenin district.

The operation continues.
