GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Three Palestinians were shot and injured on Sunday evening by Israeli forces, east of the return camps in the besieged Gaza Strip.

A Ma'an reporter said that the three Palestinian youths were injured due to live ammunition fired by Israeli forces while they participated in the Gaza marches to break the siege.

Local sources confirmed that among the three injured youths was Mahmmud Marwan Issa, the son of Marwan Issa, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement.

Sources added that the injured youths were immediately transferred to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in Gaza to receive medical treatment.

The injuries were reported as moderate.
