Israeli forces open fire on farmers in Gaza

Aug. 8, 2018 11:23 A.M. (Updated: Aug. 8, 2018 12:14 P.M.)
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces opened fire, on Wednesday, on Palestinian farmers east of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City in the besieged Gaza Strip.

A Ma'an reporter said that the Israeli soldiers, deployed at observation towers in the area, fired at the farmers.

No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, Israeli military drones flew at low altitudes in various parts of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army regularly detains and opens fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen, shepherds, and farmers along the border areas if they approach the unilaterally declared buffer zone.
