HEBRON (Ma'an) -- A large number of Israeli forces stormed central Hebron City in the southern occupied West Bank on Wednesday afternoon.

Locals said that Israeli forces stormed Hebron City, stopped and searched Palestinian residents and vehicles.

Sources added that clashes broke out in the area between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces afterwards, in which youths threw stones and Israeli forces responded by firing several sound canisters and tear-gas bombs.

Israeli raids in the occupied Palestinian territory are a near-daily occurrence.
