UN Rock arrives into besieged Gaza Strip

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The United Nations Deputy Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, James Rock, arrived to the besieged Gaza Strip, on Monday, via the Erez crossing (Biet Hanoun) between Israel and the northern besieged Gaza Strip.

Sources from the Palestinian liaison confirmed the arrival of James Rock on Monday morning, along with several assistants.

Rock is scheduled to meet with a number of Hamas movement leaders as part of peace efforts by the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nikolay Mladenov, to stabilize the Gaza Strip.
