'Partners, but' discusses 'honor killing'

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The latest episode the "Partners, but," show on Ma'an TV' discussed "honor killing" to highlight the issue through an open, in-depth youth dialogue that would outcome in results and recommendations that would limit the issue.

Ma'an Network, including the radio network, TV, website and social media pages, determined to handle the subject in depth, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund and the Spanish Cooperation; the cooperation will highlight on the issue of "honor killing" and the stance of law, traditions and norms and political will towards the issue.

Professor Muhammad Kamil, who teaches Criminal Law at the Palestine Ahliya University, Khawla Azraq, member of the General Secretariat of the General Federation of Women, Amina al-Hilu, director of the protection department at the "Safe House" center and several students of the Palestine Ahliya University took part in the discussion.
