Lieberman: 'Israel's operational force is the strongest in the area'

Sept. 4, 2018 4:58 P.M. (Updated: Sept. 6, 2018 2:22 P.M.)
JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- The Israeli Defense Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, stated on Tuesday that the Israeli "operational force is the strongest" in the Middle East.

According to Israeli Ynet new outlet, Lieberman along with Chief of Staff, Gadi Eisenkot, attended several Israeli army military exercises throughout the past month.

Sources reported that after Lieberman attended a military exercise on Tuesday, he said "after attending three military exercises within a month, my impression is that we have an operational force at a very high level which is ready to handle any task."

Lieberman emphasized that "this is the strongest operational force existing in the Middle East and none of our enemies can contend with it."

The Israeli army is known for conducting military exercises throughout the entire year, specifically along the southern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip and at the northern borders with Lebanon and Syria.

In addition, Israel receives enormous military assistance every year from the United States.
