BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian youth was injured during violent clashes that erupted with Israeli forces in the Dheisheh refugee camp, in the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem, on Thursday dawn.

Local sources said that a large number of Israeli forces raided the Dheisheh refugee camp, causing clashes to break out between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces.

Israeli forces fired live ammunition towards the group of Palestinians, injuring one youth in his leg.

The injured Palestinian, who was not identified yet, was immediately taken to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.
