Erez (Beit Hanoun) crossing in the northern Gaza Strip
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Israeli authorities partially reopened the Erez (Beit Hanoun) crossing between Israel and the northern besieged Gaza Strip, on Thursday, following its closure a day before.

Sources at the Palestinian liaison told Ma'an that Israel allowed the passage of patients, journalists and several Palestinians from the West Bank who were visiting the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli authorities had closed the crossing, on Wednesday, in response to protests that took place near the border crossing on Tuesday.
