16-year-old Gazan succumbs to wounds

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian teen succumbed, on Saturday, to wounds he sustained during "The Great March of Return" protests in eastern Rafah City in the southern besieged Gaza Strip on Friday.

Medical sources at the European Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed that Ahmad Misbah Abu Tyour, 16, succumbed to wounds he sustained by Israeli forces' live bullets in eastern Rafah.

The teen was injured with a live bullet in the chest and transferred to the European Hospital, on Friday, where his injury was initially reported as critical before he was pronounced dead on Saturday.

On Friday, one Palestinian, 19, was killed and some 400 others were injured by Israeli forces during the 24th Friday of "The Great March of Return" protests across the Gaza Strip.
