Palestinians enter Israeli military post on Gaza border

Sept. 12, 2018 10:56 A.M. (Updated: Sept. 12, 2018 2:38 P.M.)
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Two Palestinian youths allegedly managed, on Tuesday, to enter an Israeli army military post on the border with the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to eyewitnesses, two Palestinian youths, who have not been identified yet, managed to enter the Israeli military post and steal three cameras and a box full of live ammunition.

Witnesses added that the Palestinians returned to the Gaza Strip unharmed.

Hebrew-language news outlets reported that in response to the incident, Israeli forces fired from a tank at two empty observation posts, belonging to the Hamas movement.

Sources said that the Hamas movement evacuated all observation posts in Gaza, in fear of another attack by Israeli forces.
