Israeli forces detain 3 Palestinians in East Jerusalem

Sept. 13, 2018 11:02 A.M. (Updated: Sept. 13, 2018 12:35 P.M.)
JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained three Palestinians, on Wednesday, for allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at a gas station in Jerusalem, in the central occupied West Bank.

According to a Hebrew-language news outlet, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians from East Jerusalem after they reportedly threw Molotov cocktails at a gas station near the illegal Israeli settlement of Maale Adumim.

No injuries were reported.
Since the occupation of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in 1967, between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis have moved into Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory, in violation of international law.

The estimated 196 government recognized Israeli settlements scattered across the Palestinian territory are all considered illegal under international law.
