Israeli forces shoot, injure Palestinian in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian near the Erez crossing (Beit Hanoun) between Israel and the northern besieged Gaza Strip, on Wednesday night.

Locals said that Israeli forces opened fire at a group of Palestinians near the northern borders injuring one.

Sources added that the injured Palestinian, who was not immediately identified, was transferred to the Beit Hanoun hospital to receive necessary treatment.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces also opened fire at Palestinian youths east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

No injuries were reported from the shooting.
