In video - Israeli soldiers detain 7 Palestinian minors in Hebron

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained seven Palestinian minors during clashes that erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces in Hebron City in the southern West Bank, Friday evening.

Locals said that Israeli forces detained seven "children" after ambushing them during clashes that erupted in the Bab al-Zawiya area of the city.

The minor detainees were not immediately identified.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,781 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, 270 of whom are child prisoners and 50 of them are under the age of 16.

Below is video footage, published by the Israeli army, showing Israeli soldiers assaulting the minors in an alley in Hebron City following their detention:
