Syrian air defense intercepts Israeli missiles

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Syrian air defense system intercepted "hostile missiles" targeting Lattakia City, a Syrian military source announced, on Monday.

The SANA Syrian news outlet reported that the Syrian air defense hit a number of missiles before they could reach their targets.

SANA said that the airstrikes on Lattakia targeted the Technical Industries' establishment.

Syrian news outlets posted pictures reportedly of Israeli missiles shrapnel.
