'Partners, but' discusses women's role in political life

JENIN (Ma'an) -- A recent episode of the "Partners, but" show discussed the role of women in decision-making and participation in political life to highlight the issue through an open, in-depth youth dialogue that would outcome in results and recommendations that would limit the issue.

Itaf Badarneh, head of the Union of Women's Action Committees, Iman Nazzal, Coordinator of the Women's Affairs Committee in the North and a number of students, women and women active in political life took part in the discussion during the episode.

The episode focused on the importance of women's participation and their reaching to decision-making positions; the discussion also included the experiences of pioneer women in the society and the challenges they faced.

Activist youths displayed their initiatives regarding women's reaching of decision-making roles and positions.

They also discussed the reality of women's participation in the political life of the Palestinian society.

Ma'an Network, including the radio network, TV, website and social media pages, determined to handle the subject in depth, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund and the Spanish Cooperation; the cooperation will highlight on the issue.
