'Partners, but' discusses safe access to sexual education

JERICHO (Ma'an) -- A new episode of the "Partners, but" show discussed the reality of sexual education of young people and their safe access to information, and to measure their awareness regarding reproductive and sexual health.

Dr. Anwaar Abu Hunoud, a clinical psychotherapist and head of the medical services department at the Al Istiqlal University, Dr. Tahani al-Qaisi, a health educator at the Health Work Committees and Maysun al-Khatib a social worker at the Health Work Committees took part in the discussion during the episode, alongside a number of university students.

The episode also discussed the importance of obtaining correct information regarding raising awareness of sexual and reproductive issues.

Participants discussed the reality and challenges that are faced with the lack of access to information and full education on reproductive and sexual health that cause the loss of life.

Young activists have displayed the nature of their initiatives on raising health awareness for youths by creative initiatives passed on to young men and women.

It is noteworthy that this workshop comes in partnership between the Ma'an Network, including the radio network, TV, website and social media pages in cooperation and partnership with the United Nations Population Fund and the Spanish Cooperation.
