Israeli forces shoot, injure 10 Palestinians in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- At least 10 Palestinians were injured on late Saturday after Israeli forces opened fire in various areas of the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, Israeli forces opened fire at hundreds of Palestinian youths, who participated in a protest east of Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, and injured seven of the protesters.

The condition of the injured Palestinians remained unknown.

Sources added that an Israeli warplane targeted the incendiary kites unit and carried out an airstrike near the Jabaliya refugee camp.

No injuries were reported from the airstrike.

Sources confirmed that two Palestinians were injured east of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, while another Palestinian was injured near the return camps, east of Gaza City during clashes with Israeli forces.

The three injured Palestinians were taken to the Indonesian Hospital to receive medical treatment. Their condition also remained unknown.
