Sept. 27, 2018 1:37 P.M. (Updated: Sept. 27, 2018 2:56 P.M.)
HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Five Palestinians were injured during a high-speed chase with Israeli forces near al-Thahriya village in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron, on late Wednesday.

Locals said that the accident occurred when Israeli forces chased a vehicle driven by Palestinians.

The driver lost control of the vehicle during the chase and hit another Palestinian-owned vehicle on the road, injuring five Palestinians.

Four Palestinians, who were from the initial high-speed chase, fled the scene, while the fifth suffered serious injuries.

The fifth Palestinian's injuries were due to the accident; he was transferred to the Israeli Soroka Medical Center in Hebron City to receive necessary medical treatment.

The identity of the seriously injured Palestinian remained unknown.
