GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Six Palestinians were injured after Israeli forces opened live fire along the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip on predawn Wednesday.

Medical sources said that Israeli forces opened fire injuring 6 Palestinians, 4 of whom were injured east of Gaza City, while another two were injured in northern Gaza and were reportedly part of the "Night Confusion" unit.

The identities and conditions of those injured remained unknown.

The "Night Confusion" unit is made up of hundreds of Palestinian protesters, who organize, as well as participate in night protests, during which they set tires on fire and chant slogans through loud speakers, while marching towards the border with Israel.
