HEBRON (Ma'an) -- An Israeli settler ran over a flock of sheep, on Thursday, while herding in an open field south of the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron.

According to local sources, an Israeli settler ran over a flock of sheep belonging to a Palestinian shepherd, identified as Ismail Daim, and causing death to a few of the sheep.

The Israeli settler was reportedly driving at a high speed and ran over the flock of sheep while they were herding in an open field.

According to a report by Israeli NGO B'Tselem, Israeli settlers' vandalism in the occupied West Bank is a daily routine and is fully backed by Israeli authorities.

Between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law, with recent announcements of settlement expansion provoking condemnation from the international community.
