Her visit lasted only a few hours, from 11:30 a.m. until 5.00 p.m.

The visit of Melania to Egypt comes as the final leg of her solo tour to visit African countries, which included Ghana, Malawi and Kenya, as part of her trip focusing on child welfare, education, and conservation.
