Israeli forces detonate suspicious objects in Gaza

Oct. 9, 2018 11:53 A.M. (Updated: Oct. 9, 2018 2:32 P.M.)
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detonated a number of suspicious objects, on Tuesday, northwest of Beit Lahiya in the northern besieged Gaza Strip.

According to witnesses, loud explosions were heard near the Israeli security border fence in northwestern Beit Lahiya town.

Sources added that the sound of explosions was due to Israeli forces detonating a number of various suspicious objects in the area.

No injuries were reported.

Late September, Israeli forces had also detonated explosive devices and locally-made bombs alongside the eastern borders, that were reportedly thrown by Palestinians during "The Great March of Return" protests earlier.
