Israeli forces detain 13 Palestinians in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 13 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank, on predawn Monday.

According to Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained one Palestinian in the southern West Bank district of Hebron. He was identified as Amir Marwan al-Tal.

In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, three Palestinians were detained; they were identified as Lutfi Salah, Ahmad Habbas Salah and Yasin Mahmoud Abu Srour, 58.

In Kafr Aqab town, in the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, one Palestinian was detained by Israeli forces; PPS identified him as Saed Adib Aboushi.

In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, another three Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces; they were identified as Nael Mahmoud Abu Kweik, Yazan Muhammad Issa, 20, and Khaled Khaldoun al-Dik, 20.

In the northern West Bank district of Nablus, two Palestinians were detained and identified as Khalid Abed al-Jabar Daraghmeh, 21, and Jamal Mutassem Rawajba.

In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians; PPS identified them as Samah Kamil and Muhammad Mahmoud Elayyan.

In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Muhammad Ibrahim Kharsa, 22.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,640 Palestinian prisoners currently being held in Israeli prisons.
