Oct. 23, 2018 12:11 P.M. (Updated: Oct. 23, 2018 3:46 P.M.)
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian was shot and injured by Israeli live ammunition during clashes that erupted in Doha town, west of the southern occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, on predawn Tuesday.

Local sources said that Israeli forces raided Doha town leading to clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces.

One Palestinian was injured with a live bullet in the leg; he was taken to a hospital in Bethlehem City to receive medical treatment.

The identity of the injured Palestinian remained unknown.

Israeli forces also raided the Beit Fajjar village, in the Bethlehem district, broke into the home of former prisoner, Rami Muhammad Thawabta and searched another home belonging to resident Ali Taqatqa.

No detentions were reported in the village.

Israeli search and detention raids are a nightly occurrence in Palestinian cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
