Israeli forces shoot, injure 8 Palestinians in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Eight Palestinians were shot and injured after Israeli forces opened fire east of Rafah City, in the southern besieged Gaza Strip, on predawn Thursday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said eight Palestinians were shot and injured, including one critical injury in the neck, east of Rafah City.

The medical condition of the rest of those injured remained unknown.

Israeli forces repeatedly opened fire at hundreds of Palestinians, who participated in night protests, and belong to the "Night Confusion" unit, following a campaign of airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes across Gaza.
