JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli police forces detained three Palestinians, on Thursday evening, after raiding and searching their home in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Head of the Jerusalem Committee for Families of Prisoners, Amjad Abu Assab, said that Israeli police forces raided the home of the Zaanin family in the Old City of Jerusalem and assaulted elderly Hajj Omar Zaanin before detaining his son Ramzi Zaanin, 40, and two of his grandchildren, Omar and Ayham.

The father and sons were then transferred to a detention center in the Old City for interrogation.

Hajj Omar Zaanin was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment later.
