Oct. 27, 2018 3:00 P.M. (Updated: Oct. 27, 2018 3:00 P.M.)
RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Three Israeli soldiers sustained light injuries during clashes with Palestinian protesters in the village of al-Mazraa al-Gharbiya, west of the central occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, on Friday.

Hebrew-language news outlets reported that clashes broke out among Israeli forces and Palestinians, who were protesting against illegal Israeli settlement activities, in the village.

Sources said that Palestinian protesters threw rocks and fireworks towards Israeli forces, injuring three of them, while Israeli forces fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel bullets.

The three soldiers suffered light injuries.

The clashes led to the killing of a Palestinian father, Othman Ahmad Ali Lidadweh, and injuring another eight protesters.

During the clashes, Israeli forces also attacked reporters with tear-gas bombs and prevented them from reporting about the clashes.
