BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A high school in an Israeli community surrounding Gaza was evacuated, on Sunday, after the remains of a rocket, fired from Gaza, landed in the school’s yard.

According to Hebrew-language news outlets, an Israeli security guard found the remains of a rocket in a high school’s yard in the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council.

Sourves said that the explosives experts immediately arrived at the scene and evacuated students from the school.

Israeli police forces also evacuated Israelis, who were present in the vicinity, to a safer location.

No injuries nor damages were reported.

Sources added that on Saturday, 37 rockets were fired from the besieged Gaza Strip into southern Israel, of which more than 17 were intercepted by the Iron Dome aerial defense system, meanwhile Israeli warplanes carried out 91 airstrikes across Gaza, according to a statement by the Israeli army.
